Rayano
Glamourdale x Cum Laude
Glamourdale x Cum Laude
Exterior:
Rayano is a well-proportioned stallion that is more than sufficiently developed and has good proportions in the body. The head is more than sufficiently expressive, the neck is set a little low but very well shaped. The shoulder is of good length and is sloping. The withers are more than sufficiently developed and continue well into the back. The back is correctly muscled, the loins are well developed. The croup has good length, position and muscle. The foreleg is a fraction under the body, but otherwise very correctly positioned. The hind leg is correctly positioned with a well-developed hock. The pasterns are well positioned and the hooves are well developed and of good quality.
Rayano is a son of the very successful Grand Prix stallion Glamourdale under Charlotte Fry. Glamourdale has already won many world titles and is now proving himself more and more in breeding. Mother Kalista (elite, ibop-(dr), d-oc) was already convincing at her IBOP with multiple 9s. Sire Cum Laude performed at Intermediaire 1 level in the sport. Preferred dressage sires Jazz and Havidoff can then be found in this dam line.
Research report:
Rayano is a very stable stallion who stands out with his attitude and workability. He is diligent, focused on his rider and comfortable to ride. The walk is diligent and pure in the four-beat. He could still take a little more ground. The trot has an active hind leg that shows mechanics and steps well under. He shows use of his back and has cadence. In the gallop we see an active hind leg with a lot of mechanics that pushes and jumps under. The stallion has a lot of balance and body use in this. In the total movement sequence, the foreleg could be placed a little more generously. The stallion makes easy transitions. Rayano showed a very consistent picture during the performance in which he developed well.
Stable behaviour:
Honest reliable stallion, easy to handle and calm in the stable.
Veterinary report:
No special features found.
Semen analysis:
Expected fertilising capacity class: good.
Breeding/adaptation advice:
Rayano can add attitude and rideability and improve the use of the hind leg in dressage horse breeding.
