Bretagne VDL
Be Sure x Secret
Be Sure x Secret
The elegant Bretagne VDL was one of the eye-catchers at the stallion inspection in Oldenburg in early 2025. He comes from the first crop of the Hanoverian premium stallion Be Sure, who won the Bundeschampionate for six-year-olds last year under Eva Möller. Based on his performance at the stallion inspection and in the 35-day test in Denmark, Be Sure was already proclaimed Danish champion at the age of four. The grandfather is the sire Secret and behind him is the Olympic stallion Totilas.
Bretagne VDL also has a lot of quality movement and dressage talent on his mother’s side. He is a grandson of the international Grand Prix mare MSJ Top Secret of Alexander Harrison, who was sold to the Spanish rider Santiago Damil last year with a view to world championships. The Totilas daughter was already successful as a young horse under Charlotte Dujardin and is a half-sister of the Intermediaire II-classified stallion MSJ Benchmark (by Bordeaux) of Jacob Nörby Sörensen. In the third generation, Bretagne VDL goes back to a half-sister of the international Grand Prix horse Flavio (by Florencio) of Henriette Andersen. This future talent therefore comes from a strong lineage.
