Today the redeeming call from British Dressage came with the fantastic announcement that Charlotte Fry and Everdale have been selected to represent Great Britain at the upcoming Olympic Games in Tokyo!
Everdale, the black powerhouse bred by P Kluitmans, showed to be in great shape recently. Due to these impressive results, they convincingly secured a place in the English team, which also consists of Charlotte Dujardin, Carl Hester and “4th man” Gareth Huges.
The horses will be quarantined on July 6th, after which the flight is planned on July 14th. The Olympics start on July 23rd. The first day of dressage is Saturday 24th of July. The first part of the Grand Prix will be held on this day. The second part of the Grand Prix is scheduled for Sunday 25th of July, after which the Special, which counts as the Nations Cup, will be held on the 27th of July. The best 18 combinations will then compete during the Freestyle that will be held on July 28th.
