New record for Kjento daughter Patchouli Vera; 92.5 points during the IBOP
A new record was achieved during the IBOP in Velddriel. Patchouli Vera (Kjento x Bordeaux, breeder F.A. de Voogd from Oudelande) received 92.5 points for her performance.
With only 9s and four 9.5s, she achieved the exceptional total of 92.5 points: a new record!
“An extremely high score, for an extremely talented horse! It was a real pleasure for us to watch, horses of this caliber only come along very occasionally,” Wim Versteeg is enthusiastic. “She walks with a lot of space, overstep and good use of her body. In the trot she stands out with her good tact, swing and she can extend and come back on the hind leg extremely well, without losing any balance. She trots with a very good use of the hind leg, she’s always uphill. And that for a mare that is three years old and 1.75m tall!
We also saw the same image in the canter, in which she has a lot of balance and posture, stays well uphill and canters with a lot of leg technique and body use. Patchouli Vera is a very athletic dressage horse that’s easy to ride.” This generously developed mare scored 80 points for conformation, which immediately made her an elite mare. This mare previously won the VWF Dressage Competition at Manege de Prinsenstad.
Annemijn talks about her mare: “What makes Patchouli so good is that all 3 of her gaits are really good, she has a good hind leg, a lot of looseness and is also very sweet. For her age, she also has very good balance.”
