Anouk Ivits very successful with the mare Iris (s. Lord Leatherdale)
Last weekend Anouk Ivits competed her mare Iris at the Subtop competition in Schijndel. The combination won the Small Tour class with 68.80%. They also won the Inter I with a nice 69.338%!
The mare Iris is bred by Gertjan van Olst, and comes from an interesting dam line. Iris descends from the successful combination Lord Leatherdale x Negro. Her dam is the Elite Prok Ibop mare Eternal Flame (Negro x Monaco, ET). Eternal Flame is a full sister to Elegance (Negro x Monaco, ET). Elegance was successful at the Tokyo Olympics and is ridden by Beatriz Ferrer-Salat.
Anouk and Iris have already achieved many successes together. They were already extremely successful in the basic sport, and they are now continuing this in the Subtop. At the beginning of October, the combination won the Inter I at Geldrop Hippique with 72.35%. They also won silver at the Dutch National Championships Small Tour last August.
