Magnificent Glamourdale voted Horse of the Year
The magnificent Glamourdale has already won many prizes with his rider Charlotte Fry. The stallion of Van Olst Horses managed to win a big majority of the votes, making the son of Lord Leatherdale Dressage Horse of the Year 2024.
In recent weeks you have been able to vote for your favorites. The votes have now been counted and it is known which dressage stallion will be put in the spotlight at the KWPN Stallion Show. Glamourdale has received this title twice before and now this Olympic horse has become Horse of the Year for the third time.
A life full of success
The son of Lord Leatherdale (out of Thuja stb pref prest by Negro, breeder J.W. Rodenburg from Ouderkerk aan den IJssel) managed to collect the most public votes. The KWPN stallion has already built up a life full of success with his impressive performances, both in sport and in breeding. The champion of the 2014 KWPN Stallion Show won the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses for seven-year-olds in 2018, became world champion twice in 2022 and he won European Championship gold with the British team and individual silver in 2023 with 92.38%. This year, the KWPN stallion took Olympic bronze with 88.97% and won the CHIO Aachen with more than 80%.
