Van Olst Sales 2021 Online Ridden Horses
9 more days, and then the Van Olst Sales 2021 online auction of ridden horses will start!
A beautiful collection including 18 high-quality, modern young dressage horses, descending from Van Olst stallions and carefully trained by team Van Olst Horses.
The auction will start on October 29, 2021 at 12:00 PM and closes on November 1, 2021 at 8:00 PM.
The collection includes 3-year-old young ridden horses, 4- and 5-year-olds under saddle and a 7-year-old trained at Prix St Georges level with talent for piaffe and passage. In this collection there is a high-quality dressage horse for everyone’s wishes.
We highlight some horses for you:
- Jack – Negro x Flemmingh x Landetto – Gelding
The oldest horse in this auction is Negro’s son Jack. As with many descendants of Negro, the real talents emerge during the collected work. This 7 year old gelding has no problem with the highest form of collection. The passage is like a clock and the piaffe is also present in good quality.
Jack’s dam herself competed at Z1 level and she is also the dam of Jack’s full brother, Esplendido AZ, who competes at Small Tour level.
- Guinness – Glamourdale x Johnson x Haarlem – Stallion
Guinness is an NRPS approved stallion who descends from the World Champion Glamourdale. Glamourdale is very successful in the international Grand Prix and his future looks exciting. Grandsire Johnson also competed at the highest level with Hans Peter Minderhoud.
Guinness seems to be a promising talent under the saddle, the start of the collection has been made and this looks very promising!
In 2021 Guinness qualified for the semi-finals of the Pavo Cup with a 9 for the trot and an 8.5 for the canter.
- Noire NA – Painted Black x Lord Leatherdale x Negro – Mare
Noire’s pedigree combines Painted Black with the mare Izzy Lady NA who descends from the very successful combination Lord Leatherdale and Negro. We also see this combination in the Olympic stallion Everdale, World Champion Glamourdale and the Grand Prix stallion Chippendale. The Negro daughter Milady, the great-granddam of Noire NA, is a full sister of the Grand Prix dressage horse Bailey, who is very successful under the saddle of Maxime van der Vlist.
Of course it is possible to view and ride these horses before placing a bid. For more information or to make an appointment, please contact Van Olst.
