Glamourdale wins his second international Grand Prix start!
In Grote Brogel, Belgium, Glamourdale showed his great form: He won his second international Grand Prix with a score of 76.761%. With almost 4% difference from the number two, the judges were unanimous in its verdict. Glamourdale (s. Lord Leatherdale x Negro bred by Mr. Rodenburgh from Ouderkerk aan de Ijssel) has received his second international qualification and this meets the requirement to start in international 5 star competitions, such as CHIO Rotterdam, CHIO Aachen but of course also the European Championships.
In the Grand Prix Freestyle, on the music of Clearwater, Glamourdale danced to victory in the pouring rain. To the sounds of “Simply the best”, the former world champion showed his passage like a king, an exemplary piaffe and perfect tempy changes. This Freestyle debut was good for a percentage of 83.235% and the victory in his very first freestyle.
This 2nd qualification also means that the Olympic Games in Tokyo would be possible to compete in when Lottie gets selected, but Van Olst Horses has decided to give priority to the obligations of Glamourdale as a stallion. He will be available this season with fresh semen (EU).
